Ask The Legends: Should I offer a monthly option for my newsletter subscription?

I’ve seen (convincing) advice that annual subscriptions are better long-term but is that limiting who might join?

Ask The Legends: Should I offer a monthly option for my newsletter subscription?

The question:

Should I offer a monthly option for my newsletter subscription, or only annual?

The context:

I’ve seen (convincing) advice that funneling newsletter peeps into an annual subscription is better long-term than offering a super-cheap monthly sub option with lots of churn. I get it! But does having only an annual option (as I currently do) present too high of a barrier for conversions?
