Open mic: Are you team organic or team paid growth?

It would be cool if you could go to the audience store and buy a pack of potential buyers. "Step right up. I've got hot leads. 20 for a dollar."

Your audience can't be bought. Not even in the case of paid ads. Whether you choose organic or paid routes, you invest time into finding the right people.

Organic growth takes more time than money. Paid growth takes more money than time. But both require your effort. So I'm wondering which you find is more effective for you. For list growth, traffic growth or direct sales.

I want to know: Do you lean more towards organic growth channels or paid growth channels? A mix of both? Why?
