I'm six years into self-employment and it's taken me this long to finally get a foothold on the kind of business I should be running.

There is so much I want to capture and convey about how this business is doing. 2025 was my first year as a full time creator and the first full year of Revenue Rulebreaker and Legends. I've spent the last couple weeks immersed in other people's Year in Reviews. Now that it's time to put mine together, it feels like an epic undertaking.

I'm planning to get more serious about these reviews—not just yearly but also quarterly. To hold me to that, I'm hosting a Q1 Earnings Call for paid subscribers and one time contributors sometime in early April.

We're going into next year in a strong position and it feels amazing to know that this business is working for you AND for me. I just need to keep going in the same direction.

This year's review is MEATY. You'll want to break out the sauce before you cut into it. One note is that, when I wrote last year's review, I was still thinking of Revenue Rulebreaker as a place to document my broader creator career so I included all my revenue streams and projects. I'm not doing that anymore. This report is about Rulebreaker, the Paid Newsletter Playbook and the Legends Network. It does not represent the entirety of my business.
