I'm currently looking for sources for the following stories. In all cases, I'm looking for self-employed people/entrepreneurs:
- Consultants who still use the "fractional" title OR formerly used it and have moved away from it for a story about whether or not fractional positioning works.
- Online sellers using ThriveCart with good or bad experiences in 2026. Detailed issues you're having or reasons you're staying.
- Entrepreneurs who have been misled by a membership where the positioning works for the founder but not the members (like Generalist World). Memberships where the promise falls flat OR where your expectations were not met.
- Funny or surprising networking stories that ended up turning into a real business relationship or at least one valuable opportunity.
- Service providers who get substantial amounts of clients via referrals AND who have a strong POV on whether or not to pay referral commissions for a story about referral commissions.
- People who live in rural, remote or disconnected cities who have previously lived in major city centers who can speak to the tradeoffs of being in a networking hub vs having to build your network another way.
- People who have moved countries or who live in a place where they aren't a native speaker of the language who can speak to how you've networked/built your network.
Note that I may not publish all of these stories if there's not enough information to publish AND I may not include you in the story even if we talk, but please get in touch if one of these applies to you.
