Does sliding scale pricing work for business owners?
The context:
This question was inspired by Legend Erin Harker's membership which she wrote about for us here. Erin offers a sliding scale membership where you choose your pricing. This is common for events too. I've always been weary of this pricing model because I think already marginalized business owners are the ones who gravitate towards it and it seems like it would put you in a less strong financial position to keep your programs going. HOWEVER, I want to know if you've run sliding scale offers and how they've worked for you.
