“Lex, are you proud of me? I’m promoting the email list!”
Keith shouted this from the stage at me a couple weeks ago while performing with his new Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band here in Atlanta. No joke.
I was proud of him.
He asked for those subscribes every time they went on break. A clipboard was passed around the audience. The band made it a little contest and if you gave your email, you were entered to win a ukulele.
By my count, they gained around 20 subscribers in one night!
The thing about having an email list…is that you have to tell people about it.
