I moved to LA three weeks after I graduated from college.

If you had told me then that I would move back to Atlanta 15 years later at the exact same time my high school friend would move back from New York. Only to end up living blocks away from each other.

Well. I could never have predicted that.

Predictions are fun, even when we get them wrong.

They come partly from experience and they come partly from our imagination.

In my case, I work with a fairly high volume of clients compared to many marketers (25-30 at any given time), so while I wouldn’t go betting the house on my predictions, I am able to spot some emerging patterns across businesses.
