Josh Spector announced last Sunday that he's getting rid of his free newsletter. Starting Saturday, you can only get his newsletter if you're a paid member.
It's a bold move and one that has email marketers asking...should more of us be doing that?
His newsletter has 30k+ readers. His audience is anyone working with clients, mostly small service providers. Josh has historically been sponsor-backed in addition to being member-backed. And he's been running his membership a long time (you might remember when I advertised it early 2025). He's built a shitload of trust over many years.
Still. It's unusual. How will he sell? Why cut people off? Who even pays for emails?
Come along for the ride!
