It was 11pm at one of LA’s famous diners on Franklin Avenue. I was sitting with my friends Betsy and Josh.
Betsy and I had just finished telling Josh about our new film festival. Yes, we were starting a dance film festival. Wasn’t that edgy and exciting?
Josh didn’t think so.
“Dance film? Who’s going to come to that?”
As my late night bacon haze wore off, I wondered if Josh was right. Would we find an audience for this?
Sorry to speed up the plot a few months but…luckily, Josh was wrong. Dance film was quite the buzzing scene and Betsy and I sold out the festival three years in a row.
Hitting a sales goal is easier when you know how many seats you want filled.
