I've been trying to close ONE partnership for the last month.

I'm extremely picky about who I partner with because I lend so much of my personal reputation to my partners. I still remember multiple friends telling me they started using Wix because I "kept recommending it on Facebook" (on God, I would NEVER recommend Wix to anyone. What actually happened is that Wix used anyone who "liked" their page as a social endorsement in paid ads. Shady as hell. I've never blocked a brand so fast.)

Last year, I started running classified ads.

That turned into a six month featured placement with testimonial tool Senja, and by the end of last year, I knew I could be leveraging both my ability to create good branded content and my incredibly high value audience more, so I moved to a partnership model.

This year, you've seen me partner with Outpost and Josh Spector.

I've learned a ton running this way for the past 4 months. It's a ton of work (which hilariously Josh pointed out on his podcast before we even started.) It's also SUPER rewarding and I'm absolutely pleased as punch at how these partnerships have shaped up.

But the thing is, I know that I can put my full weight behind both Outpost and Josh. I believe in them both. I know they'll do right by my audience. I trust them not to screw me or you over. Ever.

There are VERY FEW brands that I trust like that.
