Subscription-based businesses have had a real boom over the last eight years. And for good reason, subscription businesses grow revenue 5-10x faster than other business models.

This is due to the compounding effects of the fact that most people will not cancel their recurring subscriptions.

(There is definitely an ethical conversation to be had about this. We’ll put a pin in that for now and we’ll come back to it. Right now, we’re going to talk about the business model.)
