## The question:

What's your welcome sequence for?

### The context:

I asked this question on Threads the other day and lots of people disagreed about what a welcome sequence is for. Mine is for sales. It wasn't always that way. It used to be just about saying hi but that feels pretty useless these days when most people join me list already knowing a lot about me. What's yours for?—Lex
